Workshops and Seminars
The OSEE membership and executive contain a wealth of experience and knowledge about environmental issues and teaching. If you would like a workshop or seminar presented to your school/group/class please contact us through Elizabeth Straszynski (liz.straszynski"at"utschools.ca). Workshops can be custom designed to meet your needs. Possibilities include but are not limited to:

Going Green
Going Green offers opportunities to discuss approaches to environmental education, and to develop partnerships with individuals, organizations, and agencies delivering environmental education programs. Working together, we can green our curriculum and our school communities. Offered through Ontario Teacher's Federation.

EcoSource – in partnership with the Institute of Education at the Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), and with the support of York University in Toronto – is offering a professional development course in Sustainable Environmental Education. The SEEPS program is designed to assist teachers to develop their schools by promoting whole school approaches through sustainability education.
Subsidies are available for early registration participants. Course cost will cover all tuition fees, a field trip, course material, a certificate in course completion issued by MMU and York, a graduation dinner, catered lunches and coffee breaks.
